Road Safety Awareness for Young Citizens
As part of its continuous efforts to instill civic discipline from a young age, the NSC organized a comprehensive road safety awareness program – the Sadak Suraksha Program – on 10 February 2026, specifically tailored for the students of Navybharathi Global School.
Recognizing that traffic discipline forms the bedrock of an orderly society, the session focused on educating young minds about the fundamental rules of the road. Interactive presentations, practical demonstrations, and real-life case discussions were conducted to explain the importance of zebra crossing usage, obeying traffic signals, understanding road signs, and the hazards of underage driving.
The students were also encouraged to act as ambassadors of road safety by carrying these lessons back to their families and neighbourhoods.
Objective and Purpose
To educate school children on essential traffic rules and road safety habits, thereby reducing road accidents, fostering a culture of responsible commuting, and transforming students into active advocates of road safety within their households.
