Empowering the Youth Today
On 14 February 2026, the NSC executed one of its largest youth-centric outreach interventions in the Bodhan Subdivision of Nizamabad. Operating under the powerful mission statement, “Empowering the youth today – for a safer Nizamabad tomorrow,” the mega awareness program witnessed an overwhelming participation of 2,000 young students ranging from 14 to 20 years of age.
The session addressed three critical vulnerabilities facing contemporary youth: the rising menace of narcotics and substance abuse, the growing perils of cyber threats and digital frauds, and the imperative of cultivating respect, safety, and empowerment for women.
Subject-matter experts, police officials, and counsellors engaged the audience through dynamic multimedia presentations, open discussions, and real-world cautionary tales, equipping young adults with the psychological and practical tools needed to navigate digital and social risks safely.
Objective and Purpose
To insulate vulnerable adolescents and teenagers from substance abuse and cyber crimes, foster digital literacy and safety consciousness, and inspire young minds to become responsible torchbearers of community safety and moral integrity.
