A United Stand Against Narcotics
Marking the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26 June 2026, the NSC organized a massive 2K Run uniting 1,000 citizens and police personnel.
The event resounded with the powerful rallying cry: “No to Drugs – Yes to Life: Be a Part of Change.” Law enforcement officers and civilians ran shoulder-to-shoulder, symbolizing a unified societal front against the menace of narcotics.
The run culminated in a public pledge ceremony where participants swore to keep their communities drug-free, report suspicious peddling activities, and support rehabilitation efforts for affected individuals.
Objective and Purpose
To demonstrate strong public-police solidarity against substance abuse, raise widespread anti-narcotics awareness on a global observance day, and inspire community-wide commitment to a drug-free society.
